The Streets Of Rage started in December 2006 as Burned In, with two members, and longtime friends (Serge, and Chris) who just wanted to jam. Through Winnipegbands.com they met Tomas. Add Derick on bass, and then to the vocals he went. Now they had a sound. In February 2007, at the Comeback Kid show, they ran into their bass player, Mike. They were finally complete. "We hope to be a band with some meaning to it, and we believe that music makes people feel better… Hopefully positive lyrics, strong riffs, and pounding beats can help you. We’re looking for someone to help us get a better recording together, and some bands to play with. If you want to play with us, or put us in your studio msg us! We’d love to do either. Thanks everyone!"

One listen to "Mass Decay" the first release from Canadian metal outfit Infraction's self titled full length debut album and it is clear that this five piece ensemble are waiting no longer to stake their claim in the world of heavy. Combining crushing vocals, tecnical riffs, melody, speed and vicious breakdowns...not to mention a harsh scream or two tossed in and these boys got it covered."

"Perhaps best said by Ubermetal.com's Tyrone Pow " Infraction has given innovation and progression a solid place within their art."

Recorded @ Bedside Studios, engineered by Len Milne and mastered by Scott Pinder @ Polyphonic Mastering Labs.
